Pre-Trial :

At this stage, people began to work to make disability a real concept. Major stakeholders are people with disabilities, advocates, community organisations, and the government. They have played an integral role in shaping the history of the NDIS.
    • 2008You need to acknowledge this stage as the foremost. The signing of the National Disability Agreement took place. Australian governments considered it the first and vital step towards a new, cooperative aspect. It is to support people with disability—the development of a National Disability Strategy 2010-2020 was initiated. The actual NDIS history began from this stage.

Future Directions :

The NDIS seems to continue its expansion across the different areas of Australia. It would further boost its mobile applications and digital services to improve the experience and accessibility of the NDIS Participant. This showcases that the timeline and the history of the NDIS have brought incredible progress in the future since its inception.

The evolution of NDIS further evolved in the expansion of participant numbers and coverage. NDIS Act 2013 streamlined the approval and application processes. The directions of the scheme will be shaped by ongoing policy development. This ensured serving people with disabilities to get the best of benefits. It began partnerships with NDIS providers, mostly in key hubs like Melbourne. This is vital to deliver person-centred and high-quality services. Overall, the NDIS demonstrates the foundational basis of bringing revolutions in the policy of national disability.
